Travis Levie
Coach Levie is entering his 18th year of coaching and 3rd year as Head Coach of the Round Rock Boys Basketball Program. In his first two years, the Dragons have posted back to back 20-win seasons and appearances in the UIL 6A playoffs.
Coach Levie is a native of Temple, TX, where he was a three-year letterman in basketball playing for Coach Bruce Etheridge at Temple High School. Upon his graduation in 2001, he attended The University of Texas-Permian Basin where he played basketball and earned his Bachelor of Arts (History, 2005) and Masters of Science (Sports Administration, 2008).
Coach Levie began his teaching/coaching career in Midland ISD at Abell Junior High School and Midland Lee High School (2008-2012). From there he joined David Raigosa's staff as the top assistant at Pflugerville High School (2012-2020). During that time, the Panthers reached the playoffs seven consecutive seasons and won two district championships.
In 2020, Levie joined Brent Murphy's staff here at Round Rock High School. That season, the Dragons went 23-6, and won the District 25-6A Championship. From there, he took over the basketball program at Lago Vista High School, before returning to Round Rock High School in 2023.
Coach Levie and his wife Jodi have two children, Bryn (14) and Jace (10).
