Coach Castro is in her seventh year as an assistant coach for basketball and softball at Round Rock High School and her third year as the head coach of the Girls Flag Football program. She has coached athletes at every level of basketball, helping build a competitive and cohesive program.

Across seven years, she has contributed to five district championships, including leading the 2024–2025 RRHS Freshman Girls Basketball team to a perfect 24–0 season. She most recently guided the program to back to back JV District Championships, reinforcing her commitment to player development and sustained excellence.

As head coach of Girls Flag Football, she led the program to the State Championship Tournament, establishing RRHS as one of the top emerging programs in Texas. In the summer of 2026, she was selected to coach with USA Football, gaining national level experience and contributing to the growth of girls and women in the sport.

She is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with her players and takes pride in watching them succeed on and off the court and field. She believes in empowering female athletes through confidence, accountability, and teamwork.
