Brian Solemsaas
Coach Solemsaas grew up in Bismarck, ND where he won a state championship in football (2001), baseball (2003), and track (2004). Upon graduation he attended Upper Iowa University in Fayette, IA from 2004-2009, and was a shortstop and an All-Conference pitcher (2008) for Peacocks. After his playing days were over Coach Solemsaas received his Masters of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University (2009-2011) where he was a Graduate Manager for the baseball team. From there he started his coaching career having stops at Clarke University (2011-12), Wayne State College (2012-13), Northwest Nazarene University (2013-15), John A Logan College (2016), Arkansas State University (2016-17), and Southeastern Oklahoma State University (2017-18). He’s also coached for Major League Baseball in China (2015), and managed the Battle Creek Bombers in the Northwoods League (2016-17), taking them to the playoffs both seasons, and the Championship series in 2017. Over the last 2 years he has served as a Volunteer Assistant, but will now serve as the JV White coach. He lives in Hutto with his girlfriend Roxanne, her two kids Julian and Alana and new baby boy, Jacob.
